Wine
Grant Burge Shadrach Cabernet Sauvignon is the flagship Cabernet. It draws from the winery's Corryton Park Vineyard in the Eden Valley and from fruit grown on the Barossa Valley floor.
The grapes ferment in open stainless steel for seven days, with a portion left on skins for extended maceration. The balance then completes primary and malolactic fermentation in French oak.
The wine matures in French oak for 21 months. After ageing a further two years in bottle, it is released. The Shadrach joins the Meshach and Abednego in the Grant Burge trio of premium reds.
Deep inky purple, Grant Burge Shadrach Cabernet Sauvignon has concentrated spicy berry flavours, fine tannins and exceptional length. Cellaring potential is 15 years.
